Colorful Eclectic Kitchen

3

The first challenge for the designers with this project, was to come up with a design to complement the homeowners eclectic style as they wanted just the opposite of the basic kitchen they already had.

The major concern while working on this design was the scarcity of space in the original design, so a wall between the existing kitchen and adjacent bedroom was taken out to create a larger, more open space that now catches lots of light during the day.

The brand new, red island kitchen counter gives the homeowner plenty of counter space that too with a pop of color. Additionally, the outfitting drawers and a counter top in the mudroom too matches the kitchen which allows the seamless design flow into the next room.

The homeowners unique style helped in creating a fun and colorful space! Here the blue bookshelf was turned into a great storage space for decoration.
