Sugar Loaf Kitchen
The "Sugar Loaf" kitchen was designed by Tawna Allred, a nationally certified interior decorator and professional artist living in Star Valley.
This house was purchased at an awesome cost as a short deal, a site unseen! However it required a total gut job to accommodate a young family and their extended family when they came for trip.
Though the narrow floor plan created unique challenges, the designer made sure to maximize the utility by designing with full efficiency.
The outcome of the kitchen design was a warm one. Additionally, the modern design of the kitchen had plenty of storage space.
Since the kitchen had limited space, one of the greatest difficulties that the designer faced during this kitchen designing was to ensure that everybody had a place to sit in the kitchen!
Therefore, sleek modern chairs where used that could be tucked away with ease, to enable the flow of traffic patterns.
To achieve the ''modern look'', a sleek and clean design was required. Hence, the Benjamin Moore’s “Simply White” was used as the foundation for the walls and cabinets, which coordinated well with the counter tops and the backsplash.
And lastly to make the kitchen more inviting, natural wood was used on the island and the floating shelves. The wood coordinated with the floor, creating a cohesive interior.People who read this also like: 4 Steps To Reach A Well Organized Kitchen Modular Kitchen - Arrange Your Pans And Pots Common Kitchen Design Problems & Solutions
