Sleek, Tangerine - Tinged Mid-Century Modern Theme


The complete layout of the home was designed with a mid-century modern concept set in mind, as it was already expressed by the clients, that they doted mid-century modern style. In fact, they already owned some flawless period furniture! Overall, the work consisted of the entire home renovation, which also included reworking the exterior landscape. It took about 18 months to finish the interior and three months for the exterior.

The clients additionally owned the horse print and other artwork, and the geodes emerge from the client’s early vocation days as a geologist. The incorporation of all these features into one design, brought life to the concept.

Orange has been utilized as a bold accent throughout the home.

All of the floors were replaced. And the mix of wood with various materials, leaves a splash of dramatic effect behind.

The complete front yard was redesigned to blend along with the interior theme. The concrete retaining walls along with the wooden staircase landings, help tie the inside and outside together. Moreover, an existing backyard pool was removed, to turn it into an outdoor living space.
